Abstract

This research is based on Government Regulation no. 17 of 2018 concerning the District which in article 10 letter (g) reads about the Sub district head Duties in fostering the administration of village governance. The problem that occurs in Pinang Sebatang Village is that there are still many complaints that are felt by the community against the services provided by the village apparatus. The purpose of this research is to find out what guidance has been carried out by the Sub district head to the Pinang Sebatang Village Government. This study uses a qualitative approach. The location of this research is in Tualang District, Siak Regency. The focus of this research uses four forms of coaching, including: providing guidance, providing direction, providing education and training, and manual literature. Data collection techniques used in this thesis are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of coaching by the sub-district head had been carried out but there were still some complaints from the community. This complaint is caused by the lack of understanding of the village apparatus on the importance of providing the maximum possible service to the community. The suggestion that can be taken from the author is that the village apparatus should prioritize the provision of services as much as possible, increase human resources to be more competent in carrying out their duties and carry out socialization more often about the importance of providing the best service for the community
