Abstract

Community empowerment is one of the government functions which is included in mandatory government affairs that are not related to basic services. Community empowerment through a single-business palm oil cooperative in Seresam Village, Seberida District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, there are many people who have good potential but are not empowered optimally. The purpose of this study was to determine Community Empowerment through Manunggal Palm Oil Cooperatives in Seresam Village, Seberida District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The problem in this thesis is the lack of publication or socialization related to the recruitment of cooperative employees so that many people have the potential but are not empowered. The type of research in writing this thesis is a qualitative descriptive research method in which this research explores and analyzes to provide meaning and meaning in problem solving. The data collected is in the form of words, pictures, and not numbers. Thus, an explanation and description of the research topic can be obtained in accordance with the research title. This writing consists of primary data, namely research in the form of interviews, documentation and observation, and secondary data obtained by interview results in community empowerment research through cooperative palm oil businesses. Conclusion Community Empowerment Through Manunggal Oil Palm Cooperatives in Seresam Village, currently related to the recruitment process for cooperative employees, it has been published or socialized but not carried out in all existing business units so that many people have the potential but do not know about the recruitment of these employees so that it does not create a community that empowered. Suggestions for this is the Manunggal Palm Oil Cooperative so that it can socialize empowerment to all levels of society and not specifically to cooperative members.
