Abstract

Research with the title “The Effect of Boiler Ash and TSP on Growth and Production of Mung Beans (Vigna radiata L.). This research has been carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture Riau Islamic University, Jalan Khaharudin Nasution Km. 11 No.113, Kelurahan Cold Water, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. This research has carried out for 4 months starting from March to June 2021. Design used is a factorial Completely Randomized Design consisting of 2 factor. The first factor is boiler ash with 4 levels, namely: 0, 112.5, 225 and 337.5 g/plot and the second factor is TSP with 4 levels: 0, 5, 10 and 15 g/plots. Parameters observed were plant height, relative growth rate, rate of net assimilation, flowering age, harvest age, wet weight of seeds per plant, weight dry seeds per plant, and weight of 100 seeds. Observational data analyzed statistics and further tested BNJ 5%. From the research that has been done, it is obtained results that the interaction of boiler ash and TSP has an effect on the parameters for observing the relative growth rate of 14-21 and 21-28 DAP, the rate of net assimilation, flowering age, harvest age, wet weight of seeds per plant, weight dry seeds per plant and weight of 100 seeds. The best treatment is on combination of boiler ash treatment at 337.5 g/plot and TSP at 15 g/plot. The main effect of real boiler ash on all observation parameters. The best treatment was 337.5 g/plot. The main effect of TSP is real on all observation parameters. The best treatment was 15 g/plot.
