Abstract
This research was conducted with the aim of finding out how the description of community life in Silat Perisai in Pulau Empat Hamlet, Empat Village, Kuok District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. Community life is always related to art, in Pulau Empat Hamlet there is Silat Perisai art. Shield silat is a martial art . Community life is never separated from religious values, social values ​​and moral values. This study uses the theory of religious values, moral values, social values ​​by Notonegoro, namely: material values, vital values, spiritual values, spiritual values ​​are divided into: beauty values, truth values. The formulation of the problem in this study is: How is the Description of Community Life in Silat Perisai in Pulau Empat Hamlet, Empat Village, Kuok District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The method used by researchers for this research is descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach by using data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews and documentation.
