Abstract
The research aims to determine the effect of interaction and main bokashi of swallow droppings and NPK 16:16:16 on growth and production purple eggplant (Solanum melongena L.). This research has been carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution No. 113, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Kota Pekanbaru. This research was carried out for 4 months starting from June to September 2021. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD). factorial consisting of 2 factors. The first factor of giving bokashi dirt swallow (W) consists of 4 levels of treatment, namely: 0; 0.5; 1; 1.5 kg/per plot and factor both fertilizers NPK 16:16:16 (N) consisted of 4 treatment levels, namely 0; 2.5; 5; 7.5 g/per plant. Parameters observed were: plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit per plant, and fruit weight per plant. Result data The study was statistically analyzed and continued with the 5% BNJ test. Results research shows the interaction of swallow droppings bokashi and NPK 16:16:16 significant effect on the parameters of flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit per plant and fruit weight per plant with the best treatment of bokashi swallow droppings 1.5 kg/plot and NPK 16:16:16 7.5 g/plant. Main effect of dose real swallow droppings bokashi against all observed parameters, where the best treatment at 1.5 kg/plot while the main effect of NPK 16:16:16 significantly against all parameters with the best treatment was 7.5 g/plant.
