Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the interaction of catfish pond water and Leaf Fertilizer for cacao plant nurseries. This research has carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharudin Nasution Km 11 No. 113, Air Cold Village, District Bukit Raya, Pekanbaru City. This research was carried out for 4 months from from May to August 2021. This study uses factorial completely randomized design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is various types of catfish pond water (K) consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely 0 cc plus 750 l of water, 250 cc plus 500 ml of water, 500 ml plus 250 ml of water, and 750 ml plus 0 ml of water. and the second factor is foliar fertilizer (B) which consists of 4 levels of treatment, namely 0 ml per l water, 1.5 ml per l water, 3 ml per l water and 4.5 ml per liter of water. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, area widest leaf, stem diameter, and root volume. Data analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ honest significant difference test at the 5% level. Based on the results research that has been done shows that the interaction effect of water catfish ponds and foliar fertilizers have a significant effect on height plants, number of leaves, widest leaf area, stem diameter, and root volume. Where is the best treatment for catfish pond water with a concentration of 750 ml di add 0 ml of water and 4.5 ml of foliar fertilizer per liter of water. The main effect of fish pond water real catfish on all observation parameters. The best treatment is water catfish pond 750 ml plus 0 ml water. The main effect of real foliar fertilizer to all observation parameters. The best treatment of foliar fertilizer 4.5 ml per l water.
