Abstract
The lack of green open space in Pekanbaru City makes the Putri Kaca Mayang Green Open Space a special attraction for the public to visit. With the construction of RTH Putri Kaca Mayang, Pekanbaru City looks more beautiful and gives a natural impression in the midst of the density of urban areas. The purpose of this study was to determine the attractiveness of RTH Putri Kaca Mayang based on public perceptions. This research is descriptive study with a quantitative approach. Respondents were determined using the quota sampling type. From the analysis it is known that all variables such as completeness of facilities with a percentage value of 63.6%, visual conditions with a percentage value of 83.5%, variety of activities with a percentage value of 74.5%, comfort with a percentage value of 76.9%, and accessibility with a percentage value of 84.6%. Based on data processing through the help of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software getting a good category except for the completeness of the facilities that get the sufficient category. It is necessary to improve aspects of completeness of facilities such as parking area, street vendors area, garden lights, and wifi/internet to improve the quality of RTH Putri Kaca Mayang, so that it can become a reference for Pekanbaru City Government to make good green open spaces in the future.
