Abstract

Labor productivity is one of the main elements in determining the success of implementing a construction project, but often the use of labor is not effective. Work sampling is an approach method that can be used to measure productivity quite easily. The purpose of this study was to analyze the productivity of the column formwork assembly workers. This research is a column with the same type and size, and the factors that affect labor productivity in column formwork work. The method used to calculate productivity is the Work Sampling method, which is a measurement technique by looking at a predetermined sample before the start of observing a job. The location of the observation was carried out in the building of the Riau Province Grand Mosque. This observation was carried out for 12 working days from October 1, 2018 to October 13, 2018 with three observations of the building column formwork assembly work with a total workforce of 20 people. The data obtained from field observations are then calculated based on a predetermined formula. The level of productivity in the three observations is that the first observation takes 24998 seconds, the second observation takes 28191 seconds, and the third observation takes 26950 seconds. And for the analysis of the Labor Utilization Rate (LUR) in the mosque construction project in Riau province is 0.66 or 66%. The factor that most influenced the column back assembly was the job skills variable with the highest correlation coefficient value (rcount) with a value of 0.718 and the terms (rtabel) with the 0.4438.
