Abstract
This study disucsses the application of situasional crime prevention in preventing the inmates from escaping in the Rutan Kelas II B Rengat. This study aims to find out how to apply situasional crime prevention in preventing the inmates from escaping in Rutan Kelas II B Rengat. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method by conducting interviews with the Key informants and informants in this study.the results of this study indicate that the application of situasional crime prevention in reventing the opportunity for inmates to escapes in the Rutan Kelas II B Rengat has been running properly. With the addition of the number of CCTVs, increasing the height of the walls equipped with doubel stranded wires, re-activating the warning alarms that were damaged, and routinely conducting weekly urine checks to eradicate drug anf synergy effective.
