Abstract
AR Field is one of the largest oil fields in Rokan Block managed by PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia. The field is predicted to still have considerable oil reserves and still have the potential to be produced. In 2019, net production averaged 40,000 BOPD of crude oil. By ensuring the remaining oil reserves in this field, it is necessary to evaluate the recalculation of reserves to see if the field is still a future prospect or not. The AR field has the UIR SAND Reservoir located in XYZ Area which will be evaluated the calculation of oil reserves using volumetric and DCA methods. The parameters that will be evaluated by volumetric method in this research are, OOIP, COIP, MCOIP/remaining reserves (RR), Np value and RF calculation. While calculation with DCA method is used to calculate RR and to know the age of the field. Volumetric calculations use analysis of TOW log data divided into two types, namely open hole log data that serves to determine the flow unit of reservoir and measure the value of Soi; the second is the cased hole log data that serves to measure the value of Soc and Sor. DCA calculations use production history data of the UIR Sand Area XYZ Reservoir Layer, with the DCA model equation applied being the Arps' model equation. Evaluation of reserve calculations using volumetric methods obtained a total OOIP yield of 112,184,312 STB, TOTAL COIP 37,727,091 STB, MCOIP/RR total 25,006,467 STB, Np total 74,457,222 and RF value 66.37%. Evaluation of RR calculation using DCA method obtained results of 9,844,440 STB. After the evaluation was conducted, it was concluded that Reservoir UIR SAND Area XYZ can be produced for approximately 30 years by assuming qlimit = 0 BOPD.
