Abstract

This research was conducted at the Mustika Bunda Pekanbaru Foundation, which aims to determine whether the accounting applied by the Mustika Bunda Pekanbaru Foundation is in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. The research data used are primary and secondary data.The data collection techniques used were interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the Mustika Bunda Pekanbaru Foundation in the process of recording does not calculate depreciation of its fixed assets and the foundation also does not make ledgers, trial balances, cash flow reports and notes on financial statements. From the exposure of the research and discussion carried out ,it can be concluded that the application of accounting by the Mustika Bunda Pekanbaru Foundation is not in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
