Abstract
The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between arm muscle power and the results of the male students' javelin throwing class XI MIA SMAN 1 Merbau. The type of this research is correlation. The sample in this research were male students of class XI MIA SMAN 1 Merbau, amounting to 12 people. The research instrument used was an overhead medicine ball throw test and a javelin throw test. The data analysis technique used is to calculate the level of the value of the relationship or correlation. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between arm muscle power and the results of the male students' javelin throwing class XI MIA SMAN 1 Merbau because Rhitung 0.721 is greater than the value of r table = 0.576.
