Abstract
This research has a phenomenon, namely that the village still spends a lot of funds from the central government compared to the expenditure of funds from the village's original income, the village's original income in Jatibaru village has decreased every year, there have not been many programs to increase the village's original income in Jatibaru village. This study aims to determine the role of village-owned enterprises in increasing village original income in Jatibaru village and to determine the inhibiting factors for the role of village-owned enterprises in increasing village original income in Jatibaru. Using role theory is a dynamic aspect of position (status). When a person performs his rights and obligations according to his position, he plays a role (according to Levinson in Soekanto). Qualitative research methods are research that intends to understand the phenomena experienced by research subjects such as behavior, perception, motivation and descriptions in the form of words and language. The results of this study are the role of village-owned enterprises in Jatibaru village in the role of less role indicators, the role of village-owned enterprises in Jatibaru village in increasing the village's original income in the indicators that individuals play a less role, the role of village-owned enterprises in Jatibaru Village in increasing original income. village in the indicators of social structure has a role. And the inhibiting factor in the role of village-owned enterprises in increasing the village's original income in Jatibaru village is that the Jatibaru village community still makes a lot of arrears in payments in teak-prosperous village-owned enterprises and the lack of human resource capacity in managing business entities as an asset that drives the economy.
