Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of teaching the arts and culture (zapin dance) with distance learning in class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 3 Siak Hulu. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques, namely observation techniques, interview techniques and documentation techniques. The theory used in this study is the theory of teaching implementation according to Suryosubroto, where teaching has components including curriculum, syllabus, facilities and infrastructure, methods, and evaluation. The source of this research is the cultural arts teacher at SMA Negeri 3 Siak Hulu. Based on the results of the study, it can be described that the implementation of teaching the arts and culture (zapin dance) with distance learning in class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 3 Siak Hulu uses the 2013 curriculum, but for RPP and teaching implementation it is adjusted to the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic where teaching is carried out continuously online via the Whatsapp group and the E-Learning website of SMA Negeri 3 Siak Hulu. The material taught is applying concepts, techniques and procedures in creating creative dance, and applying creative dance movements (functions, techniques, forms, types and aesthetic values according to the accompaniment). The assessment criteria taken are attitude assessment, knowledge assessment and skills assessment. For the attitude assessment assesses are honesty, tolerance, systematic thinking and polite opinion. Knowledge assessment is assessed based on aspect of knowledge and understanding. Then skills are assessed based on aspect of assessment in dance, namely wiraga, wirama and wirasa. In carrying out the teaching process, there are opening activities, core activities, and closing activities, all of which are carried out online.
