Abstract

research with the title: "Test of Giving Various Types of Organic Fertilizers and Hormone Concentrations on the Growth and Production of Indexed Eggplant (Solanum melongena L)". The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction effect and the main effect of the growth and production of index finger eggplants with various types of organic fertilizers and hormone concentrations. This research was conducted at UPT UIR Garden, Jl. Kubang Raya, Kec. Siak Hulu, Kab. Kampar, Riau. The time of this research was carried out for four months starting from November 2019 to February 2020 This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial consisting of two factors. The first factor is the provision of various types of organic fertilizers (P) consisting of 4 levels, namely goat manure, oil palm empty bunches compost, vermicompost fertilizer, corn litter compost, the second factor is the hormone concentration (H) which consists of 4 levels, namely without giving hormone, Hormonal concentration of 1.5 ml, 3 ml, 4.5 ml / I of water, obtained 16 treatment combinations with 3 replications, so there were 48 experimental units. Each unit consists of 4 plants per plot and 2 plants used as observation samples so that the total plants are 192 plants. The observed dates were plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit crops, weight of fruit per plant, weight of fruit per fruit, number of residual fruits. Data were analyzed statistically and presented with the results of the honest significant difference test (BNJ) at the 5% level.
