Abstract
Under the guidance of Mr. Ir. T. Iskandar Johan, M.Si. This research was carried out from August 2021 at the Fish Seed Center (BBI) Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of combination of using ovaprim and hcg hormones with different doses for spawning puyu fish (Anabas testudineus). The research method used, the complete random design method (RAL) with 5 treatments and 3 replications, namely, P1 (treatment with hCG 0,025 ml/g + ovaprim 0,025 ml/g), P2 (treatment with hCG 0,040 ml/g + ovaprim 0,025 ml/g), P3 (treatment with hCG 0,057 ml/g + ovaprim 0,025 ml/g), P4 (treatment with hCG 0,075 ml/g + ovaprim 0,025 ml/g), P5 (treatment with hCG 0,090 ml/g + ovaprim 0,025 ml/g). The fish test used is Puyu fish with a weight of a 50 gram/tail. Puyu’s fish derived from the Teratak Buluh, Pelalawan and Siak who later in adaptation in the seeds of Faculty of Far Agriculture of Riau Islamic University. The container used is aquarium as much as 15 pieces. From the results of the research obtained the latent time of the P5 treatment of 10 hours 20 minutes. The best ovulation eggs on the P5 treatment is 6057 grains. The best egg hatchability on the P4 treatment is 99,09%. Water quality parameters such as temperature 26-30oC. pH 6-6,9. Dissolved oxygen 6,2-5,2 PPM and Amoniak 0,0925-0,1208 PPM
