Abstract

ABSTRAK One assessment of students in mastering mathematics is to look at the learning outcomes obtained by students during the learning process and the achievement of learning objectives. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Learning Cyle 5E model on student mathematics learning outcomes. The population in this study were all class X Mipa in SMA Negeri 3 Tapung Academic Year 2019/2020 as many as 130 while the research sample consisted of 30 students as the experimental class and 30 students as the control class. This type of research was an experimental study using a quasi experimental method, the research design used is nonequivalent control group design. Data collection technique used were test result data namely pretset and posstets scores. Data analysis techniques used in this research was descriptive data analysis and inferential data analysis. The results showed that there were significant differences in mathematics learning outcomes in both class using the mann-whitney test with significance level of α=0,05, the results obtained were Zcount<Ztabel (Zcount=6,86 ; Ztabel=1,96), penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 3 Tapung. This study concluded that there was an influence of the Learning Cycle 5E learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of Grade X MIPA students of SMA Negeri 3 Tapung.
