Abstract

This research was conducted in Bengkalis City, precisely at the National Zakat Board, Bengkalis Regency. The purpose of this study is to determine the welfare of farmer group members before and after being given zakat funds distribution by the National Zakat Agency (Baznas) Bengkalis Regency. The type of data used in this study is primary and secondary data. This research uses data analysis method by comparing the income of farmer group members before being given zakat funds by BAZNAS Bengkalis Regency with the standard of living a decent life (KHL) set by the government. From the results of this study it is known that: 1) Of the 25 respondents who are members of the Dhuafa Berkah Sejahtera Farmer Group and members of the Chili / Watermelon Cultivation Farmers Group, it shows that there were no respondents who were prosperous before being given zakat funds by the District BAZNAS and 25 were not prosperous. person. 2) respondents who were prosperous after being given zakat funds by BAZNAS Bengkalis Regency were 5 people and there were 20 people who were not prosperous.
