Abstract

The research was conducted in the city of Sawahlunto, West Sumatera. The purpose o this study was to determine how the financial performance of PT. BPRS Gajah Tongga Koto Piliang in the city of Sawahlunto if analyzed by the CAMEL method. The type of data used in thus study in secondary data obtained from the company, namely the income statement and balance sheet in the last four years, namely 2016 to 2019. Besides that, it also used data in the form history, vision and mission, organization structure, operational permit certificates establishment. The data analysis method use in this research is quantitative analysis in the form of numbers in the company’s financial statement then analyzed according to the bank’s soundness predicate and draw conclusions whether the bank’s financial performance is very healthy, healthy, healthy enough, unhealthy and unhealthy. The result of this study indicate that the financial performance of PT. BPRS Gajah Tongga Koto Pliang in terms of capital (Capital) is very healthy. From the aspect of assets (Asset quality) is not healthy. In terms of Management (Management) is healthy. In terms of Earning (Rentability), ROA and BOPO are very healthy. And Liquidity (Liquidity) shows very healthy.
