Abstract
The policy issued by the OJK (POJK No.11/2020 Concerning National Economic Stimulus) as a countercyclical policy as a result of the spread of the Covid19 outbreak, by implementing expansionary policies in the form of fiscal and monetary concessions carried out by financial institutions in Indonesia, including BRI bank, In order to anticipate the occurrence of non-performing loans, which is a situation where customers are unable to make payments to part or all of the obligations imposed due to the Covid-19 outbreak, a restructuring is held for customers, especially customers who have micro business loans at BRI banks. The problem of this research is how to save micro business credit (KUR) for customers affected by the Covid-19 outbreak at Bank BRI Pekanbaru branch, and what are the legal consequences of efforts to save micro business credit (KUR) for customers affected by the Covid-19 outbreak at Bank BRI Pekanbaru branch. The research method is observational research by means of a survey, meaning that the researcher directly conducts research at the location where the research is conducted, while its nature is descriptive. The results of the study revealed that efforts to save micro business loans (KUR) for customers affected by the Covid-19 outbreak at Bank BRI Pekanbaru branch were by implementing rescheduling to resolve non-performing financing in the form of extending the repayment period for financing, implementing reconditioning, providing relief from profit sharing payments without reducing remaining principal obligation To perform reconditioning, the customer must submit a written statement requesting reconditioning and then give it to the manager for confirmation. The statement letter explained the reasons for the customer to apply for reconditioning and stated the nominal ability of the customer to pay off his obligations and implement restructuring where the bank was unable to grant all requests for restructuring submitted by the debtor because only customers who had good faith to pay their obligations and legal protection for customers who affected by the Covid-19 outbreak, the effort to save micro business loans (KUR) at Bank BRI Pekanbaru branch is based on the Financial Services Authority Regulation (POJK) No.11/POJK.03/2020 concerning National Economic Stimulus as a Countercyclical Policy due to the spread of Corona virus Disease 2019 where this provision does not eliminate the customer's obligations but there are new adjustments in paying debt or credit installments, namely by reducing interest rates, extending the period, reducing principal arrears, reducing interest arrears, adding credit facilities, but even though it has been implemented there are still many customers who continue to violate the policies that have been carried out by the Bank to save micro business loans (KUR) run by customers
