Abstract
Semiotic analysis is the study of a wide range of symbols and signs. Semiotics aims to determine the meanings contained in a sign, or interpret these meanings, and find out how the communicator constructs the message. In this video clip, many signs appear and produce meaning. So that we know the Islamic value contained in the Deen Assalam video clip. The title in this study relates the semiotic analysis of Islamic values in the video clip Deen Assalam. The purpose of this study is to analyze the Islamic values contained in the video clip Deen Assalam. The theory used is Charles Sanders Pierce's theory, the method in this study is to use a descriptive qualitative approach. In Charles Sanders Pierce's theory, he proposes the triangle meaning theory, namely the sign, Object, and Interpretant. The sign in question is a physical one that can be captured by the human senses. Data collection techniques in this study are in the form of observation (direct observation) and documentation from references related to research. The results of the research of Deen Assalam's video clips on YouTube or VCD, in which there is a tokok who plays the scene dressed neatly or covered with Islamic values in the video clip. Not only the video clips have Islamic values but also the lyrics, not everyone knows that the lyrics contain Islamic values as well, this will all have an impact on the lives of children or adolescents today who do not all know the meaning of Deen Assalam itself. Through Deen Assalam's video clip, it is hoped that the public can first understand the meaning of the song, so that it becomes a good example. Islamic values contained in the video clip are related to tolerant life among human beings. For fans of the Deen Assalam video clip, it should be used as a guide in life so that we umar live peacefully and peacefully.
