Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of characteristics individuals on employee performance at PT. Tiki Path Nugraha Ekakurir (JNE) in Pekanbaru Branch. The method used is descriptive method quantitative, and data analysis techniques used are linear regression analysis simple. The data collection instruments in the form of a questionnaire with Research samples are employees of the Courier at PT. Tiki Path Nugraha Ekakurir (JNE) in Pekanbaru Branch in 2018, amounting to 34 people respondent. From the results of simple linear regression analysis research shows that the value of R-Square (R ) equal to 0.422 meaning individual characteristics significant effect on employee performance at PT. Tiki Path Nugraha Ekakurir (JNE) in Pekanbaru Branch was 42.20%, while the remaining 57.80% influenced by factors or other independent variables not observed in this research. From the results of the t test (partial) shows the results of that characteristic individuals (X) with a sig value = 0,000 <0.05 or t-count value = 4,830> 2,037 (t-table), then it can be concluded that individual characteristics have a positive effect and significant effect on employee performance at PT.
