Abstract

The village development plan aims to create a well-planned and well-structured village development as expected by the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia because the Village development plan is a planning document that contains the direction of village development policies, the direction of village financial policies, general policies, and programs. village, accompanied by a village work plan. This study aims to determine the description of the preparation of short-term development plans in 2018 and 2019 in Muara Bahan Village, Singingi Hilir District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The problem in this research is that in 2018 there were 10 programs planned, only 4 programs were planned, in 2019 there were 8 programs planned, only 4 programs and there were programs in 2018 that had not been realized but not included in the 2019 development plan preparation program such as drilled wells, road drainage or ditches, box culvers, renovation of mosques and prayer rooms, construction of habitable houses and road paving. In uncovering this problem, researchers used quantitative methods with data collection techniques by means of questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that the implemantation of short-term development plans in 2018 and 2019 in Muara Bahan Village, Singingi Hilir District, Kuantan Singingi Regency was “ Quite well� for this reason, it is necessary to suggest that the village government should conduct socialization to the community about the importance of compiling a village develompment plan, open to incoming and outgoing funds, eastablishing a development plan must first look at what is the need for the community and carry out continuous supervision and guidance to improve performance in village fund planning and budgeting.
