Abstract

This thesis aims to find out the community empowerment about coconut fiber, whether it has gonewell or not. This researchwas conducted to find out and explain community empowerment in increasing the productivity of coconut fiber and the level of utilization of community value in the village of Penjuru. This problem is appropriate in the field using descriptive survey research types with qualitative research methods which state that the characteristics of qualitative research are qualitative research methods don intensively, researchers participated long in the field, carefully recorded what happened, conducted a reflective analysis (thinking) of various documents found in the field, and made research reports in detail to obtain information by interviewing, observing, and documentation and collecting data. the data and information obtained are made as a basis for analyzing. the results of the research that have been carried out show that community empowerment in the use of coconut fiber is quite good in its presentation. now, Community participation and empowerment in the use of coconut fiber is quite good, it is also the responsibility and duty of the village government and the village community toalways strive to advance and improve the use of coconut fiber to be effective for the community. There is also a need for special attention from the government tomotivate, invite and try to improve the empowerment of the use of coconut fiber for the community in building a creative economy and from all aspects of the community's needs to achieve prosperity
