Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction and main effect of giving Chicken Egg Shell Powder and Gandasil B Fertilizer on Mixed Media of Peat and Red Yellow Podsolic on the Growth and Production of Red Okra Plants. This research was conducted at Jalan Karya III, Dutamas Housing, Tanah Merah Village, from June to September 2020. This study used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors. The first factor was eggshell powder consisting of 4 levels, namely doses of 0, 15, 30 and 45 grams per polybag. While the second factor was Gandasil B fertilizer which consisted of 4 levels, namely 0, 3, 6 and 9 grams per liter of water with 3 replications, so there were 16 treatment combinations, so there were 48 experimental units. Each unit consisted of 4 plants, and 2 of them were observed sample plants, so the total number of plants was 192 stems. Parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant and number of remaining fruit. The results of the observations were carried out by analysis of variance, further tested for honest real difference (BNJ) at the level of 5%. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the interaction of chicken egg shell powder and gandasil B fertilizer significantly affected the parameters of plant height, harvest age, number of fruit per plant and fruit weight per plant. The best treatment was eggshell powder 45 g/polybag and gandasil B fertilizer 9 g/L water. The main effect of real eggshell powder on all observation parameters, the best treatment was eggshell powder 45 g/polybag. The main effect of Gandasil B fertilizer was real on all observation parameters, the best treatment was Gandasil B fertilizer 9 g/L water.
