Abstract

Many people experience stress, one of them is an employee who works in the company, caused by demands from superiors, company productivity, the environment and family. Therefore, it is necessary to have social support for employees to reduce and help the problems that are being faced, it can be said as wSork stress. this research intend to determine the effect of social support on work stress at PT Pangeran pekanbaru Hotel project accomodation. The total subject of this research is 81 people. The data of this research were collected by using a social support scale and a work stress scale. The sampling technique is saturated sampling technique. The data analysis technique is simple linear regression techniques. Based on the results of statistical analysis, it is known that there is a significant effect of F = 23.157 and Sig =, 000 (P & lt; 0.05) with an effective contribution of 0.227 or 22.7% on employee work stress, social support, while 77.3% information by other factors. Thus, it can be concluded that employees who experience work stress get a positive influence with the social support provided to each individual, the higher the social support provided, the lower the work stress and have better work results.
