Abstract
Every teenager has problems, including early teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Previous research has explained that adolescents with autism have some of the same problems as adolescents in general, but problems in adolescents with autism emphasize anxiety, disinterest in social interactions, and language barriers. So that adolescents with autism experience problems or obstacles in carrying out developmental tasks. The purpose of this research is to describe the characteristics of early adolescents with ASD based on social interactions, emotions, psychomotor and cognitive abilities and to describe the problems faced. The research design used a descriptive qualitative and the method with a case study approach. The respondents in this study was 2 people with 4 supporting respondents, taken based on the method of taking with purposive sampling and the data collection technique of this research, namely observation as primary data collection with the method of recording using anecdotal record and secondary interviews and documents as a complement to the data.
