Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of good corporate governance, which consists of managerial ownership, institutional ownership, board of directors, board of commissioners and audit committee as well as profitability and leverage on the company's financial condition. The population in this study are all agricultural companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, taken based on purposive sampling, namely 17 companies. The analytical tool in this study uses logistic regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that (1) managerial ownership has no effect on the possibility of financial distress, (2) institutional ownership does not affect the possibility of financial distress, (3) the size of the board of directors affects the possibility of financial distress, (4) the size of the board of directors commissioners have no effect on the possibility of financial distress, (5) the size of the audit committee does not affect the possibility of financial distress, (6) profitability does not affect the possibility of financial distress, (7) leverage has no effect on the possibility of financial distress.
