Abstract
This research was conducted in Balai Tangah Village, Lintau Buo Utara District, Tanah Datar Regency, the purpose of this study was to determine whether the financial management in the Balai Tangah Village government was by Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. The data used are primary data and secondary data, for primary data. such as interviews about village history and secondary data containing financial reports and organizational structures. The financial management process of Balai Tangah Village has not fully implemented the General Acceptable Accounting Principles. Because some states are not implemented, namely Summarization Stage, namely Balai Tangah Village does not calculate inventory and does not calculate the amount of depreciation of fixed assets. And the reporting stage does not include the previous year's asset value in the Village Property Report.
