Abstract

Research to find out the Implementation of the Authority of the Village Head of Tanjung Gadai regulated in Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages, namely Article 26 paragraph 1 (m) Coordinating Village Development in a participatory manner. Authority is intended as a matter that has been established in the social order to establish policy to determine decisions on important issues, and to resolve conflicts in participatory development. Research Objectives to determine the implementation of the authority of the Village Head in coordinating participatory development with several indicators, namely the preparation of development plans, determination of development plans, controlling the implementation of development plans and evaluating the success of development implementation. This research is a quantitative research that is descriptive in nature with the purposive sampling approach, that is, the sampling with the choice of sample and aiming at certain considerations as intended by the respondent is the person who knows best about the information we expect. The type of data used in primary data are questionnaires, interviews, and field observations and secondary data are collected through regulations, documentation and reports as well as other data obtained in Tanjung Gadai Village then analyzed descriptively. Based on the analysis data it is concluded that in the Preparation of Development Plans, Determination of Development Plans, control of the Implementation of development plans, and Evaluation of the Success of the Implementation of Development Plans is categorized Good Enough. Obstacles - realization of the implementation of development in the village of Tanjung Gadai is not yet right on target needed by the community or only the development felt by some communities, There is still a lack of resources supporting the implementation of the authority of the village head in the development of village infrastructure, and the beneficial impact resulting from village infrastructure development activities to the environment can be said to still look only good enough. The authority of the Village Head in carrying out the development carried out by the government is essentially to create decisions in a just and prosperous development for the people of Tanjung Gadai Village.
