Abstract

One of the testimonies of the victims of the crime of sexual intercourse in the family in the Legal Area of the Indragiri Hilir Resort Police with the information started when the suspect persuaded the victim's witness to have intercourse. The suspect promised to marry the victim's witness if he was pregnant. At the persuasion of the suspect, the victim's witness was willing to have intercourse with the suspect. In the research conducted, the authors have a main problem as a guide for discussion in the study, namely how the strength of the victim's testimony against the crime of sexual intercourse in the family at the Indragiri Hilir Resort Police and what are the barriers and obstacles to the strength of the victim's testimony against the crime of sexual intercourse in the family at the Indragiri Hilir Resort Police. The research method carried out using this type of research is included in the observational research group with its descriptive analytical nature. the object of research, regarding the crime of sexual intercourse in the family at the Indragiri Hilir Resort Police. The location of the research carried out in the study was the Indragiri Hilir Resort Police. Primary data are materials obtained from respondents, namely: Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of INHIL Police and Investigators of the Criminal Investigation Unit of INHIL Police. Secondary data in the form of literature books, and journals as well as the internet. Tertiary legal material in the form of a dictionary of Indonesian law. Data collection tools using interviews with respondents. Data analysis by drawing conclusions in this study is guided by the deductive method, namely the inference from general things to specific things. The strength of the victim's testimony against the crime of sexual intercourse in the family At the Indragiri Hilir Resort Police has internal factors, namely the factors contained in the perpetrator so that he in this case commits the crime of sexual intercourse with a child as a victim. The existence of very good treatment and protection from the Indragiri Hilir Resort Police is not in accordance with the information. technical barriers, namely the lack of openness in providing information by victim witnesses who think it is disgraceful for the crime of sexual intercourse, even though the perpetrator or suspect of the crime of intercourse still has family relations. The information from the Indragiri Hilir Resort Police officers and the facts on the ground are indeed very different, it would not be wise if there was a stigma or assumption that the performance of the Indragiri Hilir Resort Police officers in handling cases of sexual intercourse was the same.
