Abstract

This study aimed to compare the learning outcomes of students who are thaught using cooperative learning model make a match and card sort with handout on the subject matter the human excretory system and its relationship to health in class VIII SMPN 20 Pekanbaru Academic Year 2019/2020. The study population was all students of class VIII SMPN 20 Pekanbaru with the number of students as many as 207 people were sample from this study selected using a random system through roll of paper because all classes have the same academic ability so that it is obtained VIII2 as classes experimental 1 which apply make a match with handout and VIII3 as classes experimental 2 which apply card sort with handout. The method used in this study is the experimental method. Cognitive classical completeness graders experiment 1 was 96%, while the experimental class 2 is 92%, the results showet that there are differences as much as 4% in the second classical completeness class research. Data collecting technique in this research in test. From the data analysis the t-test is know that taccount (1,555) ˃ ttable (2,000) with db (0,05) and real level 5%, than H1 is rejected that there is nodifferentcess between the student learning outcomes integrated sains that class implement kooperative laerning make a match with a class implementing cooperative learning card sort using handout. Based on the obtained descriptive data analysis average student learning outcomes Post-test experiment 1 (Make A Match) 83,11 and experiment 2 class (Card Sort) 80,61. So, it can be concluded that is no differentces between the students learning outcomes between the integrated science classes that implement coopetive learning make a match and a class implementing cooperative learning card sort by using media handout to student in the class eigh junior high school 20 Pekanbaru Academic Year 2019/2020.
