Abstract

Discipline and work motivation are an encouragement to employees to be able to work better because this is a form of commitment from employees who work so that without any element of coercion from other parties, employees will remain consistent with their commitment to complete and be responsible for tasks. given job. This study is intended to determine the magnitude of the influence of the variable discipline and work motivation on employee performance. The benefits of this research are expected to provide input and consideration for the progress of government institutions, namely the Riau Police with the aim of improving the performance of working employees. The approach in this study is a qualitative approach with a survey method with a sample size of 50 people while the research method used is descriptive qualitative with the aim of the study being to determine and analyze the effect of discipline on the performance of the Riau Regional Police's logistics bureau employees and the influence of motivation on the performance of the logistics bureau employees. Riau Police. The results of this study are that there is a significant and simultaneous influence between the variables of discipline and work motivation on the variables of the performance of the Riau Regional Police Logistics Bureau. These results were obtained through data processing using statistical analysis, namely multiple linear regression and correlation coefficients which showed a positive influence between discipline, work motivation and employee performance.
