Abstract

Abstract Interpersonal Communication Between Coach And Players of UIR Football Association To Build Good Relationships Taruna Diatama NPM: 159110022 Communication is an important element to build good relationships between individuals in a team, because through the communication process there is interaction and sharing of information so as to create a common vision of each individual in the team. One of the appropriate types of communication to use in an effort to build good relationships between individuals in a team is interpersonal communication. This is because in interpersonal communication there is a direct interaction between the communicator and the communicant. This study aims to determine interpersonal communication between coaches and UIR Football Association players to build good relations. The research was conducted at the Student Activity Unit (UKM) of the Islamic University of Riau-Pekanbaru Football Association. The method used is a qualitative research method. The subjects of this study were coaches, assistant coaches and players of the UIR Football Association, while the object was interpersonal communication between the coach and the UIR Football Association players. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out using qualitative data analysis. The results of this study conclude that interpersonal communication between coaches and UIR Football Association players to build good relations has been running effectively. This is because the interpersonal communication has had a significant impact on the players, including increasing the individual abilities of players and the players being able to compete with other team players, the coaches and players have the same vision and mission for the progress and success of the team, and the players are quite competent and Have a good attitude on and off the field.
