Abstract

This research has been carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, for four months starting from December 2020 to March 2021. The purpose of the study was to determine the interaction effect and the main effects of POC and organic NPK on the growth and production of purple eggplant. The design used was a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors. The first factor is the provision of POC (P) which consists of 4 levels of treatment, namely P1: POC tofu liquid waste (50 ml/l), P2: POC coconut fiber (50 ml/l), P3: POC fruits (50 ml). /l), P4: POC vegetables (50 ml/l), and the second factor is the administration of organic NPK (N), which consists of 4 levels, namely N0: without giving organic NPK, N1: 7.5 g/plant, N2 : 15 g/plant, N3 : 22.5 g/plant. Parameters observed were plant height (cm), flowering age (DAP), harvest age (HST), number of planted fruit (fruit), weight of planted fruit (kg), fruit weight per fruit (g), and number of remaining fruit from planting (fruit). ). Observational data from each treatment were statistically analyzed and continued with the further test of Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) at the 5% level. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the interaction of giving POC vegetables and organic NPK significantly affected plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, and fruit weight per fruit with the best treatment P4N3 (vegetable POC 50 ml/l and organic NPK 22.5 g/plant). The main effect of giving POC vegetables was on plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, weight of fruit planted, and weight of fruit per fruit.
