Abstract

Professional teachers should be able to choose the appropriate learning infrastructure, for example when selecting student handbooks. Each teacher's perception or view of textbooks is different, because not all humans have the same views or ways of thinking. The problems in this study are: How are Indonesian teachers' perceptions of the feasibility of student-handled Indonesian textbooks at Tanah Putih District High School for the 2020/2021 academic year in terms of the feasibility of content, presentation, language and graphics? This study aims to describe, analyze, and interpret the perceptions of Indonesian language teachers on the feasibility of student-handled Indonesian textbooks at Tanah Putih District High School for the 2020/2021 academic year in terms of the feasibility of content, presentation, language and graphics. The method used in this research is the method of description, the type of field research with a quantitative approach. The theory that the author uses in this study is the theory of Masnur Muslich (2016) and Hendry Guntur Tarigan (2013). Sources of data in this study were Indonesian language teachers in SMA Tanah Putih District. To collect data the author uses observation techniques, interview techniques and questionnaires or questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that the average percentage of Indonesian teachers' perceptions of the feasibility of student-handled Indonesian textbooks at Tanah Putih High School in the 2020/2021 academic year for grades X, XI and XII in terms of content feasibility with percentages (76.57%, 74.29% and 74%) good category, presentation eligibility 78.73%, 76.83%, and 76.19%) good category, linguistic eligibility (80%, 79.05%, and 78.10%) good category and graphic (81.42%, 81.42%, and 80.48%) good category. Of all the four percentages, the feasibility of the textbook is in the good category.
