Abstract
PT. PLN (Persero) is a state-owned company that deals with all aspects of electricity in Indonesia. particularly in the Service Unit sector. Service Unit is a unit under the implementing unit with the scope of division from the implementing unit area, for example in one implementing unit there are several service units, namely rayon which covers several work areas in one city or sub-district. especially Pekanbaru City which is the capital of Riau Province with a high enough growth and population and increasing every year, of course it requires a large supply of electrical energy as well, seeing the level of construction of infrastructure, public facilities and infrastructure, buildings and housing certainly requires a supply of electricity which also capable. From the data obtained, it is known that the information regarding the requirements for changing electrical power that is still confusing to the public and is not supported by a notice board then there are still many people who register manually or offline, the mismatch of power change service time which usually takes 5 to 10 days is known exceeding the standard of service time for changes in electrical power which is up to 15 days to 18 days, there are additional fees / tariffs imposed by power change operational employees to consumers and the number of complaints of mismatches regarding services that come to PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Rumbai after the power changes were made. Based on the explanation above, the authors are interested in conducting research with the title “Analysis of the Office of the State Electricity Company (PLN) Pekanbaru City District Electricity Company in Changing Electrical Power�. This research uses descriptive type with quantitative data. This research will be conducted at PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Rumbai Pekanbaru. To obtain a representative sample, purposive and census sampling techniques were used, namely the employees of the PLN Rayon Rumbai and the community who took care of the change in electrical power. After discussing the results of processed data and interviews and observations, it can be concluded that based on the results of the research that the author has done regarding the Office of the State Electricity Company (PLN), Rayon Rumbai City of Pekanbaru in the Change in Electric Power in the category of Fairly Good. There are several things that can be suggested, among others, intensifying the socialization of information on requirements and procedures for changing power services, taking action against employees who commit extortion, improving the complaint system and increasing employee resources and work support accommodation facilities.
