Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution of arm muscle strength and eye-hand coordination to the long service of extracurricular students of SMA Negeri 1 Kabun. The type of research used in this study is correlation. The number of samples in this study were 15 extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Kabun. The research instrument used was a push-up test, catch a baseball ball and badminton long service test. Based on the results of data analysis and hypothesis testing obtained, for the contribution of arm muscle strength to badminton length service or variable X1 to Y, it is obtained rcount <rtabel or 0.447 <0.532, for eye-hand coordination on the ability to serve badminton length or variable X2 to Y obtained rcount <rtabel or 0.468 <0.532, while for the contribution of arm muscle strength and eye-hand coordination to the long service ability of badminton or variables X1, X2 to Y, it is obtained rhitung> rtabel or 0.628> 0.532, it is known that there is a significant significance of arm muscle strength and hand eye coordination on results of long service and there is a contribution to the long service ability of badminton extracurricular students as much as 39% and the remaining 61% influenced by other factors.
