Abstract

This research was conducted at the Pekanbaru City Culture and Tourism Office. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work discipline and compensation on employee performance at the Pekanbaru City Culture and Tourism Office both partially and simultaneously. The population in this study was all employees at the Pekanbaru City Culture and Tourism Office as many as 34 employees. The method of determining samples in this study was to use a saturated sampling technique where the number of populations was sampled. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that work discipline partially affects the performance of employees at the Pekanbaru City Culture and Tourism Office. Compensation partially affects the performance of employees at the Pekanbaru City Culture and Tourism Office. Simultaneously, work discipline and compensation have an influence on the performance of employees at the Pekanbaru City Culture and Tourism Office.
