Abstract

This study aims to determine and predict the existence of financial distress in logistics and delivery sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. There are various models to predict financial distress, namely the Altman Z-score, Springate, Zmijewski and Grover methods. In this study, the data used is the annual financial report data that has been published by the company on the website www.idx.com. The sample in this study is the logistics and delivery sub-sector companies listed on the IDX during the 2019-2021 covid-19 pandemic as many as fifteen companies. The results of the study prove that using the Altman Z-score method there is 1 company experiencing financial distress and the Zmijewski method there are 3 companies that are predicted to experience financial distress. Meanwhile, with the Grover method there are 12 companies that are predicted to experience financial distress and the Springate method there are 32 companies that are predicted to experience financial distress.
