Abstract

Service is the core of government functions. The form of public services provided by the government is health services, one of which is PUSKESMAS as the front guard. One form of development in the administration of health services provided by the government is through various services aimed at making it easier for people to get health services. The purpose of this study was to describe the extent of the implementation of excellent service and to find out what obstacles occur in the implementation of excellent service at Pangkalan Lesung Puskesmas, Pangkalan Lesung District, Pelalawan Regency. This study used a qualitative method to describe the actual or actual situation that occurred regarding the Implementation of Excellent Service at Pangkalan Lesung Public Health Center. The technique of withdrawing informants in this study used the snowball technique, amounting to 5 people consisting of key informants and informants. Snowball informant retrieval identifies some people as informants and it is possible to retrieve or replace them with other informants. Based on the research that has been done, the results show that the Implementation of Excellent Service at Pangkalan Lesung Puskesmas, Pangkalan Lesung District, Pelalawan Regency using indicators of Attitude, Attention, Action, Ability, Appearance and Responsibility that the services provided do not all use indicators of attitude, action and responsibility because there are still many. community complaints At Pangkalan Lesung Puskesmas. The obstacles that occur in providing excellent service are the lack of officers such as doctors and nurses, the lack of alertness in serving patients, and the existence of a suggestion box as a display. Inputs and suggestions from researchers in this study are that they must be friendly in serving patients who seek treatment.
