Abstract

The National Amil Zakat Agency is an institution that manages zakat in Indonesia starting from the provinces to districts where this institution is specifically to manage, collect, distribute and empower zakat.Some of the problems that the authors managed to find started from the problem of socialization that was not running optimally, recipients who were not on target, membership that was not in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations, namely the number was too much from the rules that had been set and the distribution process was not optimal.The purpose of this research is to find out how to implement the distribution of zakat funds in the Siak Prosperous Program by the National Amil Zakat Agency of Siak Regency, and to find out the obstacles in the process of distributing zakat by the National Amil Zakat Agency of Siak Regency descriptive using quantitative methods. In this study, data and information were collected from respondents using a questionnaire. From the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the process of distributing zakat by the Baznas of Siak Regency so far can be said to be quite good starting from the recipients who are entitled to receive zakat or right on target to 8 asnaf recipients of zakat and then is the timeliness of the schedule for the process of distributing the aid funds.Then the obstacles faced by the Baznas of Siak Regency in the distribution process are almost non-existent, but the problems that the author encountered were the incompatibility of data on the amount of aid funds given to mustahik, the ineffectiveness of the livestock assistance program for mustahik, lack of supervision, and the assistance provided had not been able to improve the welfare of the mustahik
