Abstract

Kepulauan Riau is one of the islands in the Sumatra Island area which has one of the typical products such as Kerupuk ikan, sagu, Bilis gulung, luti gendang, tepung gomak, kue batang, otak-otak, kerupuk ganggang, deram-deram and kerupuk udang. Currently sales are still using manual sales that market to traditional markets or open shops. Purchase transactions are only carried out by local residents or for tourists visiting Kepulauan Riau. One of the solutions that the author offers to traders and producers of typical Kepulauan Riau products is to build a mobile-based application in which there is also knowledge about the typical products of Kepulauan Riau so that it will increase the interest of buyers in making purchases, as well as being able to provide information related to typical products of Kepulauan Riau. buyers and potential buyers in the form of a marketplace. By building a mobile-based application, it also makes a difference between other manufacturers and makes it easier to introduce it widely to the Indonesian people. The results of this study are in general the system that has been built has been able to run and can produce data that is in accordance with the product order process that takes place between the customer and the seller. The results of using the application can more quickly introduce typical Tanjung Pinang products and can help sales of Tanjung Pinang typical product traders.
