Abstract

The purpose of this working paper is to find out the analysis of the process of incoming and outgoing letters at the general administration bureau of personnel at the household section of the Islamic University of Riau Pekanbaru in order to encourage the achievement of goals at the office. Starting from the author's interest to raise this title because of the author's curiosity about the analysis of incoming and outgoing letters. Letters are a means of communication to convey written information by one party to another with the aim of informing the purpose of the message from the sender. The information provided in the letter is in the form of introductions, notices, assignments, requests, agreements, orders, orders, reports and decisions. In addition, letters can also contain warnings, reprimands, and awards. Its function includes five things: a means of notification, requests, thoughts, and ideas; written evidence, reminders, historical evidence, and work guidelines. Considering the very important function of the letter, the agency should also strive for the storage of the letter process to be carried out properly and follow the available procedures. Because this can make it easier to find these letters.
