Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the contribution of running speed and agility to the dribbling ability of the DKI FC Tapung Football Club players, Kampar Regency. The type of this research is multiple correlation. The population and sample in this research were 20 players of the DKI FC Tapung Football Club, Kampar Regency. The research instrument used was a speed test with a 40 meter run, agility test with a dodging run and a dribbling ability test. The data analysis technique used is the multiple correlation value test. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, conclusions can be drawn as follows (1) There is a contribution of running speed to the ability to dribble on the players of the DKI FC Tapung Football Club, Kampar Regency with a value of rcount = 0.635 rtable = 0.444 or 40.32% , (2) There is a agility contribution to the dribbling ability of DKI FC Tapung Football Club players, Kampar Regency with a value of rcount = 0.601 rtable = 0.444 or 36.12%, (3) There is a contribution of running speed and agility to dribbling ability the ball on the DKI FC Tapung Football Club player, Kampar Regency with a value of rcount = 0.717 rtable = 0.444 or 51.41%.
