Abstract

Oil production in the YL field has decreased, to increase oil production the New Zone Behind Pipe (NZBP) work was carried out. So that the production results can benefit the contractors and the government, this project is carried out with an estimated operation and investment in accordance with the standard work contract system in force in Indonesia. This study aims to calculate the economic indicators of NPV, IRR and POT based on the PSC Cost Recovery system and the Gross Split system. Then determine which contract is more feasible or better by comparing the final results of the economic indicator of the PSC contract and the economic indicator of the Gross Split contract. This study resulted in a comparison that based on the Gross Split system there are more wells that are considered feasible, namely 6 wells from the 12 wells studied, with oil production above 2.65 MSTB to 9.71 MSTB, respectively NPV, IRR, POT values. is 11.90 to 52.5, 11% to 40%, 0 to 4.22 months. While the PSC system is only 5 wells that are considered feasible from 12 wells, with oil production of 1.82 MSTB to 9.71, the NPV, IRR, POT values are 13.2 to 189.80, 11% to 156% and 0 to 6.47 months. So the Gross Split system is the best cooperation contract system to be applied in the YL field.
