Abstract
Promotional mix is the most important factor in promoting a university in the world of education. The university must prepare the promotion mix as well as possible so that it can attract and be of value for new students who will study. The focus of research at the Islamic University of Riau focuses on knowing the quality of the promotion mix for new student admissions at the Islamic University of Riau and to determine the factors that influence the promotion mix for new student admissions at the Islamic University of Riau. The research methodology used is quantitative research methods. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the indicators of the promotion mix, namely: advertising (advertising), sales promotion (sales promotion), personal selling (personal selling), and public relations (public relations) studied at the Islamic University of Riau have received a good assessment. This can be seen from the percentage of advertising indicators (advertising) 87% (good), sales promotion (sales promotion) 89% (good), personal selling (personal selling) 88% (good), and public relations (public relations) 90% ( good).
