Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the feasibility and determine the responses of teachers and students to e-modules based on phenomenon based learning on acid-base materials to direct critical thinking skills. This research is a type of research and development (R&D) using a development model adopted from the Borg & Gall model which consists of 10 stages, but in this study it is only limited to 7 stages. The subjects in this study were material experts, media experts, chemistry teachers and students of SMA Negeri 2 Siak Hulu Kampar. The object of the research is a phenomenon-based learning-based chemistry e-module to direct students' critical thinking skills. Data collection techniques were obtained from a feasibility test questionnaire, teacher response test, student response test and unstructured interviews. Data analysis was carried out by analyzing quantitatively and qualitatively descriptive analysis. The results showed that the feasibility of the e-module was obtained by 75% (good/valid) for the material aspect, 83.17% (very good/very valid) for the media aspect, the teacher's response was 90% (very good), and the student's response was obtained. by 81% (Very good). Based on these results, it was identified that the phenomenon-based learning e-module chemistry learning was feasible to be used as a learning resource.
