Abstract

This study aims to develop an accounting module on the material for the preparation of the accounting cycle in a trading company for the XII grade students of SMA/MA. This research is research and development. The research design refers to the ADDIE model. The development of this module is carried out in several stages, namely, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The data collection technique uses a validation sheet of material experts, media experts and learning experts, from student responses to the developed module by conducting a limited feasibility test. In addition, the data collection technique was also taken from the results of the practicality of the module through the teacher concerned and representatives of class XII IPS 1 students on a limited basis. The results of this study are in the form of printed products, namely the accounting module on the material for the preparation of the accounting cycle in trading companies. The results of the validation by material experts showed that the modules developed were suitable for use in the learning process with an average percentage of 3.6%. The results of the validation by media experts show that the developed module is quite feasible to use in the learning process with an average percentage of 3.3%. The results of the validation by learning experts showed that the module developed was feasible to be used in the learning process with a percentage of 3.5%. The results of the trial of all students showed that the module developed was feasible to be used in the learning process with a percentage of 3.7%. Meanwhile, the results of practicality by the teacher show that the module developed is very practical to use in the learning process with a percentage of 95%. And the overall practicality results by students show that the developed module is very practical to use in the learning process with a percentage of 95.55%. Based on the results of the validation and practicality obtained, the product in the form of an accounting module in the accounting cycle preparation material for a trading company in class XII SMA YLPI Pekanbaru is feasible and very practical to use.
