Abstract

This study aims to determine the Quality of Public Services at the Department of Population and Civil Registration in Indragiri Hulu Regency. The assessment indicators used in this study include Tangibles (Physical Facilities), Reability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy. This type of research, located in the Population and Civil Registry Office of Indragiri Hulu Regency, is a descriptive survey, which prioritizes the questionnaire as a data collection tool and the data collected with this tool is then used as the main raw material for analyzing the empirical condition of the objectivity of research objectives at the location. research. In this study there are two groups of Population and Samples, namely the Population and Civil Registry Service Officers, amounting to 22 people and the community numbering 100 people. The people in this case are those who are doing the service process. Two sampling techniques used in determining individual samples are the census technique for Dinas employee populations and the incidental sampling technique for the population population. Types and data collection techniques used in this study consisted of, primary data collected using questionnaire and interview list techniques and secondary data collected using observation techniques. While the Data Analysis Technique used is with the help of the Frequency Table. Based on this analysis technique the researcher can assess and conclude that the quality of public services at the Population and Civil Registry Office of Indragiri Hulu Regency is at a good interval. Recommendations that need to be considered are that employees are more able to remind again about the importance of hospitality in service, the Office can also improve facilities and infrastructure in service, and for the community it can also provide suggestions for services carried out in order to be better in the future.
